Our Story

Two Journeys, One Table

Vasvi Restaurant & Banquet was born from a simple belief: that a great meal is only half the story. The other half is how you're made to feel while eating it. That belief took shape through two very different careers that, together, became one restaurant — one partner mastering international kitchens that fed thousands a day, the other perfecting the art of service across world-class dining rooms spanning three continents. Kitchen discipline and service warmth, brought home to Nagpur.

Mr. Nitin — Founder

Nitin's journey into hospitality began with a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, followed by three formative years in Mumbai, working the kitchens of five-star hotels. From there, his path took an ambitious turn overseas — 15 years abroad, starting on the production line and rising through the ranks to become Executive Chef.

At the helm of some of the industry's busiest kitchens, Nitin led teams of 200+ staff from 10 different nationalities, overseeing meal production for 2,500 to 5,000 guests and 800 team members at a time — a scale of operation that shaped his command of international cuisine and multicultural team leadership.

In 2016, he brought that expertise home to Nagpur, founding Chefin Hospitalities & Catering Services, a partnership firm serving corporate and industrial catering. In 2024, that vision grew further with Vasvi Restaurant & Banquet — an 80-cover family restaurant paired with a 150-pax banquet space — bringing his global kitchen experience to the heart of the city he calls home.

Mr. Vishal — Founder

Vishal's passion for hospitality began with a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, followed by three intensive years working across food and beverage service in Mumbai's leading hotels. Seeking broader horizons, he spent 10 years overseas, starting on service teams and progressing into senior F&B management roles.

Vishal led some of the industry's largest service operations, directing multicultural teams of over 50 staff from different nationalities. He managed dining services for 1,000–2,000 guests and up to 400 team members at a time, honing expertise in large-scale service delivery, guest experience design, and cross-cultural team leadership.

In 2011 he returned to Nagpur to found Chefin Hospitalities & Catering Services, a partnership firm focused on corporate and industrial catering. In 2024 he expanded his local footprint with Vasvi Restaurant & Banquet — an 80-cover family restaurant alongside a 150-pax banquet space — bringing international service standards and a collaborative hospitality culture back to the city he calls home.
